Welcome!
St. Raphael of Brooklyn Orthodox Church is a growing Christian community of people from various ethnic and social backgrounds sharing a common commitment to the Lord, each other, and the Apostolic Faith. We warmly welcome all families, couples, and individuals who are looking for a deeper experience of the salvation offered in Jesus Christ. Come and see!
Sunday, January 11th, 2026 St. Raphael of Brooklyn celebrated their 20th year anniversary under the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America. We had a festive Sunday with our members, friends and new inquirers of Orthodoxy. We also celebrated The Great Sanctification of Water and concluded with a two year memorial service for Jim and Laura Briggs. We are eternally grateful to God for this wonderful occasion and we pray for His continued blessings on His church, St. Raphael of Brooklyn.

What is the Orthodox Church?
“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
